A.N was a product manager intern at Nanigans, a marketing partner of Facebook. He worked on software used by the largest companies to buy Facebook ads. Before and after, he spent time under published academic authors at the University of Pennsylvania researching how our lives are impacted by our relationships with technology.
He then worked at the Overstock.com headquarters as the product manager over the advertising technology team. There, he managed an online advertising system using machine learning to buy ads most likely to lead to new purchases often on sites designed to attract users' attention. While at Overstock, the company's market value multiplied by five, and he learned about the business context of the Internet.
Now, he's using his knowledge to help people understand and improve their relationship with the Internet. His book, Breaking The Feedback Loop, is about maximizing happiness and productivity in the digital age. Told through his journey understanding and eliminating his digital addiction, this is is the essential guidebook for young (and not young) adults that won't be put down until it's finished.
